Marriage vs Being Single.......

Marriage : Should I opt for it or not.....

This is a million $ question that every bachelor/spinster would ask himself or herself.Just like every coin has two sides to it same is the story with this extremely manipulated and over-hyped word "Marriage".

Firstly lets understand that wanting to get married is an individual personal choice.

Pros:
1. A companion/friend/lover/husband with whom you can be yourself. One person who knows you in & out.
2. A girl gets an opportunity to experience Motherhood which is blessing in itself.
3.You culture yourself to be committed and loyal to one individual who means the world to you.
4.You learn the art of sharing & caring.
5. Life becomes more discipline, organized and meaningful.
6.Learn to be more responsible & accountable for all your actions & inaction's.

Cons:

1. Restriction on your freedom.
2. Can get monotonous and taken for granted if you do not consciously give time to make the relationship grow.
3.You can't take your own decisions without involving your spouse.

Pros & Cons of being Single:

Pros:
1. You can live life on your own terms & conditions.
2. Freedom....is unlimited.
3.You are not answerable & accountable to anyone (it can be a pro or even a con depends on your perception.)
4. You can be financially self reliant.

Cons:
1. Loneliness can crop in at any point in time.
2. Lack of security can pose a challenge especially from societal point of view.
3. You loose out on the depth and maturity that a marriage can bring out in you as an individual.
4.Do not compare your relationship with others. Each relationship is unique.

Nowadays most of us be a it a man or a woman we seem to exhibit and independent and liberal mindset and choose to take our own decisions in life. Irrespective of whether its an arranged or love marriage it can do wonders if you wanna make it work.So the choice finally lies in your hands.
Life is wonderful if you have the right attitude and ready to learn and explore the hidden meaning of life.

A little bit of patience, a sense of belongingness, an element of trust, the ability to forgive & forget, a litlle sensitivity and above all being a human can go a long way in adding the beauty, charisma & grace in your relationship.Commitment & Faith are the two golden words........

Coming Back.....!!!!

Hi Guys,

I am blogging today after almost 2 yrs. The last time I posted a blog was way back in 2010. And now I am back with a bang.  I promise you that you will see a lot of  interesting posts fromnow on.....

Yesterday I met my Guru in Pune @ Narmada Garden. Everytime I meet him I am amazed at the unconditional love and concern that he showers on you. His simplicity and naturalness, his naughty gestures and his adorable and charismatic presence gives one a feeling of pride to have such a Guru in life. As a devotee whether you are a Teacher or Volunteer all one needs to do is be available. The Guru has his own unique ways of making this world a better stress free and happier place to live in .

A few of my Learning's-

1. The first and foremost commitment in life is to be happy no matter what. Guru says promise yourself that today I will be wear a Smile come what may. Don't loose you valuable smile for peanuts.

2. Integrate Sadhana, Seva, Satsang & Knowledge in your life.

3. Give yourself and others the room to make mistakes and learn from them.

4. Be natural, be yourself, don't pretend to be what you are not.

5. You are not here to impress anybody or prove yourself to anybody.

6. Two words that one needs to remove from one's own personal dictionary : Comparing ownself to others & Expecting from others.

7. Enjoy the material world as much as you enjoy the Art of Living world, in fact marry the two:)

8. Have patience what you  desire will come to you if you deserve it.

Guruji on Criticism

Guruji on Criticism

How to Deal with Criticism?

You know welcome criticism, why you are afraid of criticism.Criticism shows your strength. If you want to know how much mature you are it depends on when someone criticises you, how you take it.There may be many psychopaths who may not criticise at all, who may keep things in their heart. One who criticizes are very authentic, whatever in their heart they are pouring out. There are two case; One is either they are narrowminded then they critize you out of their ignorance in which case you have to be compassionate or they really want to bring something good in you.So when they critize you they are making you realize your mistake so thatey are so compassionate that you can improve from their criticism.

They are very brave, they have taken a bold step.If their criticism is coming from a space of improving you, thank them.If it is coming from a space of putting you down just laugh at them.In either case you don't have to worry about criticism. You should be strong enough to give and take criticism. This shows real educated person. An educated person will not shy away from criticism nor will he be afraid of criticism.

There is one saying of Kabir he says, 'Keep those who blame you close by, they keep your mind clean without soap and water'. So always have some people who criticize you somewhere around the corner with you, its good!

GURU V/S TEACHER

A teacher takes responsibility of your growth
A Guru makes you responsible for your growth

A teacher gives you things you do not have and require
A Guru takes away things you have and do not require

A teacher answers your questions
A Guru questions your answers

A teacher helps you get out of the maze
A Guru destroys the maze

A teacher requires obedience and discipline from the pupil
A Guru requires trust and humility from the pupil

A teacher clothes you and prepares you for the outer journey
A Guru strips you naked and prepares you for the inner journey

A teacher is a guide on the path
A Guru is a pointer to the way

A teacher sends you on the road to success
A Guru sends you on the road to freedom

A teacher explains the world and its nature to you
A Guru explains yourself and your nature to you

A teacher makes you understand how to move about in the world
A Guru shows you where you stand in relation to the world

A teacher gives you knowledge and boosts your ego
A Guru takes away your knowledge and punctures your ego

A teacher instructs you
A Guru constructs you

A teacher sharpens your mind
A Guru opens your mind

A teacher shows you the way to prosperity
A Guru shows the way to serenity

A teacher reaches your mind
A Guru touches your soul

A teacher gives you knowledge
A Guru makes you wise

A teacher gives you maturity
A Guru returns you to innocence

A teacher instructs you on how to solve problems
A Guru shows you how to resolve issues

A teacher is a systematic thinker
A Guru is a lateral thinker

A teacher will punish you with a stick
A Guru will punish you with compassion

A teacher is to pupil what a father is to son
A Guru is to pupil what mother is to her child

One can always find a teacher
But a Guru has to find and accept you

A teacher leads you by the hand
A Guru leads you by example

When a teacher finishes with you,
you graduate
When a Guru finishes with you,
you celebrate

When the course is over you are thankful to the teacher
When the discourse is over you are grateful to the Guru
